Visit a Monet Garden without getting on a plane!  A fabulous festival of color is used in the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Besides the Monet garden, enjoy the Water Garden, which is quite extensive

and features brilliant splashes of color and waterfalls.  Currently, Master Gardeners are there to answer questions

Sculpture throughout the garden further enhances your stroll. Several bronze art pieces are from nationally known artists.

After lunch, board our coach to visit a secret location, where sunflowers grow. In a vast field, see their radiant

heads all beaming up towards the sun in union, a most remarkable sight!  Sections of the Arboretum are left with rugged paths; other areas are totally handicap accessible.
