Just returned from CHRISTMAS in NEW YORK.  Broadway plays (Lion King was my favorite), Macy's fashion show and windows, New York Public Library, China Town, and lots of great eats.  Here's NY and that's just from the hotel window!  Caren Hall takes extraordinary care of her travelers allowing time to just sight-see, visit, renew old friendships, and make new friends.  Traveling is a great opportunity for me to meet new people who have a lot in common with me.  I continue to converse, e-mail and eat out with my traveling friends.  Thanks, Caren!

Thank you, Caren and Jim, for an exceptional tour of Fort Leavenworth.

 

This morning I have been telling John of all of the historical information I learned and the surprises you were constantly coming up with on the trip.  You gave life to the information by portraying someone who is dead.  How original!  

 

I have never had an interest in seeing the fort before, and now look forward to taking John there to see the old buildings and to eat at the Old Depot.  

 

How do you come up with the energy?  From one trip to another you are constantly on the go.  Now very much looking forward to Branson and many more journeys with you.

"The German/Russian Party was excellent as an end of a day celebration.  Ft. Riley, Beecher's Church, Steinburg Museum, Nicodemus, Garden of Eden, and Cathedral of the Great Plains was wonderful.  Looking forward to the fried chicken dinner.  Caren, the music, hospitality and your interesting speeches on the bus are especially great and are the added touches.  The outfits are neat too!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed everything - it was all new to us except for St. Fidelis.  The hotel was fine - breakfast was exceptional for "continental:.  Angela, especially, and Barry were excellent.  The site certainly wouldn't have meant as much without them - if you would go on your own."
